I get a lot of questions about the difference types of drone flying that I provide. Below are some simple examples to help you understand the different use cases and looks of each type.
This footage was captured through the use of a GPS Smart drone that uses satellite telemetry to maintain position and provide incredibly smooth and detailed images. I utilize this drone for establishing shots and shots that need a level horizon, slow steady tracking and reveal elements.
In this footage you will see the steady movement and overview capabilities of the drone. These shots were kept at a distance as to not disrupt operations as your ground crew was not aware of the activity. This drone is capable of much closer operations.
In this footage you can see the contrast of the two flying styles. From the smooth cinematic movements of the Smart Drone in the previous video to the close up maneuvering of the FPV Drone. I envision using this style of filming to be utilized around your trucks, barges, cranes showing the intricate and skilled movements of your crew handling materials, loading/unloading transportation equipment and showing the workflow of your site, vides shots that previously were too dangerous or even impossible to obtain.

This is an example of how the two types of flying can be integrated to showcase and entire site with multiple points of interest
In this video I am showcasing a property along the Allegheny River. Take note of how the terrain and landscape are used to reveal this sleepy cottage on the shore. Using these techniques I am able to create suspense, mystery and evoke and emotional connection to the viewer.
Similar techniques as the previous video, but with an industrial building as the subject.
